Solid lubricant Koyo – a porous polymer saturated with oil – fills all the free space inside the bearing, additionally acting as a separator and providing excellent lubrication even at the slightest rotation angles. Bearings with solid lubrication are particularly well suited for small oscillatory movements (rotation in one direction at a small angle, then in the other direction, etc.) and high loads at low and moderate rotational speeds. Since the needle rollers are enclosed in a solid separator made of oil-filled polymer, optimal rolling, separation, distribution and lubrication of the rollers, smoothness and ease of rotation of the bearing are achieved.
